New Private Practice

08/10/2014 16:20

I am Dr Rebecca Andrews, a counselling psychologist and consultant psychologist. I have a special interest in working with individuals with learning and behaviours needs in a variety of settings. I specifically work with vulnerable families and children as well as those with mental health issues. I have a private practice within the Forest of Dean and offer services within Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Bristol and Monmouthshire, which include:

  • Counselling (1:1, couples & groups)
  • Therapeutic interventions and mediation to children, parents and families
  • Psychological assessments (based on assessing children / adults with learning and/or behavioural needs)
  • Consultancy to Organisations (my experience is based of those who support vulnerable children and adults). I offer short-term and long-term direct work with service users and /or staff
  • Supervision to counselling trainees and research students
  • Training / guest lecturing (specialising in Autism, learning disabilities, positive behaviour support, child development)

I am awaiting confirmation of accreditation as a Chartered Counselling Psychologist under the British Psychological Society and registration with HCPC.
